This first class is completely an unrehearsed presentation and lab discovering and addressing the interests and concerns of people attending.

Another Approach of Access

Most schools teach in a way that is this way first, and this way next. They teach technique after technique and string them together to create patterns, then routine. This is how most things are taught. This is how I’ve taught for over 20 years.

For the last several years, I’ve been experimenting with various ways of teaching and training. I’ve continued toet better and in some cases, exceeding my teachers.

Now I want to again, try something new. This course will be designed organically and in the moment.

Approaching the learning process through addressing immediate concerns and interests.

Discovering the easiest access into your internal wisdom to develop your skills.

A good teacher can facilitate the wisdom which is already within you.

This is What It Looks Like

A participant asks about pain in their hip and glute area. We will explore the anatomy and physiology of that particular area: how it works and various things that could be working improperly.

In this case, it could be:

  • Piriformis muscle – overuse inflammation, tight, stretched, out of place.ericeisenmann_seitai_0696-copy
  • Misuse of muscle groups – what happens when gluteous maximus is underdeveloped and the smaller supporting muscles have to do the walking?
  • Misalignment of supporting skeletal structure – what if the bones of the feet aren’t moving properly? If the bones of the hip, leg, knee, and feet aren’t lubricated and in proper alignment, this could cause nerve pain.

We have a demonstration of several techniques for the hips, legs, knees, and feet.

Everyone Gets to Practice!

Japanese massage techniques take a quiet mind and a body free of blockages to perform them at their highest level. That’s why we also teach chi gong, tai chi, meditation and use other innovative training methods.

“The intelligence is in you. I am simply a more practiced sounding board. A good teacher can facilitate the wisdom which is already within you.”
